Top notch civil litigation firm
Founded in 1968, Futterman Howard Ashley Watkins & Weltman, P.C., is a civil litigation firm with a wide ranging litigation practice. The Firm represents plaintiffs, such as investors, employees, small businesses, parents, and consumers, in complex class actions and other cases involving civil rights violations, fraud, antitrust and consumers' rights. Several attorneys also work with corporate clients, showing them a "plaintiffs' perspective" and approach to litigation.
Stewart Weltman joins the firm
In 2009 Stewart Weltman joined the firm bringing an additional perspective to the litigation practice. For over twenty eight years he has successfully litigated and tried numerous complex commercial cases primarily on behalf of plaintiffs (although he has also defended his fair share), representing large companies, CEOs and, of course, plaintiff classes — litigating and trying cases with many nationally known top plaintiffs' litigators.
Litigation Consultant to In-House and Corporation Counsel
Mr. Weltman previously founded the Weltman Law Firm with the express purpose of assisting those whom he has successfully litigated against for so many years — in-house counsel and the companies they represent — providing them with a "plaintiffs' perspective" on how to better manage high stakes litigation matters.
